The grooves in the base of the heat plate allow wax to flow evenly on the ski, and maintain a constant temperature at your setting of choice. At 800 watts, your wax will melt quickly and evenly. The adjustable temperature nozzle is fixed between 212°F and 320°F to encompass all types of ski and snowboard wax.
